Now that the keynotes are done, it’s time to catch up with any gadget’s I may have missed. Most notably, the 150-inch Plasma released by Panasonic is insane. I’ve heard rumors that the only way to ship it was to put it in the cargo-hold of a Boeing 747 alone. The big thing this year isn’t size of T.V.’s, but how slim you can get the T.V.’s. I think the slimmest TV is Sony’s OLED 17 incher at a whopping 17mm thick, I think. It falls at about the width of a couple of credit cards. The LCD’s have also gotten pretty thin with some getting in the range of 1-2 inches. There were a lot of cool things shown at this CES, especially ATI’s new graphics card that is suppose to be faster than some supercomputers. I don’t even know what to say to that except, how?
